Where online is the best place to get kids clothing vouchers?
pink_carebear_girl asked:
We are poor and looking online for clothing vouchers for our 16 month old daughter. I just wanted to know some good places online for clothing vouchers.

Never heard of clothing vouchers, but we are living off welfare right now until my husband finds a new job, so I will definitely be keeping my eye on this question. Our sons are 17 months and 8 weeks. And for those people who suggest you can afford a computer, what they don’t realize is that you could very well be at a friend or relative’s home, or even the library. Or you could have had the computer long before you did “become” poor. Some people won’t think or understand until they are in the same boat. Good luck with the clothing issue, I’m going to go check out that freecycle.com website.

You can afford a computer, but not clothes for your children? How does that work?

The best place I know is FreeCycle. Its a site where people post items they have and need for free, such as clothes, toys, funiture, ect. Good luck!

What about a Once Upon a Child, they resale clothing and toys. I don’t really know their prices as I have only given stuff to them. But also you can look at end of the year sales, I get my girls like jean shorts from Old Navy at the end of each summer for the following year for like a $1.99. Also hand me downs are good, see if there are any friends or family members that have some clothes their children have outgrown that you can borrow or have.

I don’t know of any vouchers on line But if you go to Dept of family and children services they will give you vouchers for the salvation army.
