What kind of detergent should i use on my kids clothing?

I have a 10 year old and 2 little boys and I like for their clothes to smell good. I was using Xtra detergent but it doesn’t leave a nice smelling scent but it does clean and its not a bad scent. I would like to try something new since they go to school and all what kind of detergent should i use?? Thanks
