FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: How come some people associate skirts with “loose” women?

I asked a questions about women wearing skirts a couple minutes ago (which I regret because people on here are insanely sensitive). But alot of people suggested that any woman that wears a skirt is a sl*t, or a wh*re, or a **********. Why is that?
