I am working on my first collection right now. I am going to be selling on etsy while I am in fashion school and then when graduate I am going to go wholesale. Read "The Fashion Designer Survival Guide." Advertising is really important online. If you have the cash (shop around and do a google search on online advertising its not that expensive) pay to advertise on sites that will be frequented by your target market. Promote your self on myspace, flicker and create your on blog and go with a website host like Yahoo. Email me and we can bounce ideas off of each other if you want. Good Luck!!
