Weight loss
is not an easy thing to accomplish but can be done. Since my daughter was born fifteen months ago, I have lost a little over sixty pounds. The two most important factors in weight loss are eating less and moving more. The main thing to keep in mind while working toward losing weight is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to try not to lose weight drastically. If you stick with your new eating and exercise habits then your weight
loss goals should be happily met.

The first thing to think about when working toward losing weight is to eat less. The average diet consists of about two thousand calories per day. While trying to lose weight, you can go as low as one thousand two hundred calories per day and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. Also, you have to remember to eat the right kinds of foods. Chow down on the fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to stay away from anything with sugar, and anything that is fried. When cooking, use the no-calorie spray butter instead of the real thing.

Switch to skim milk instead of whole milk. Also, at the beginning of the week, make out a healthy menu for the week and go by the menu when making your grocery list; this way, you will not buy things you will not need to be eating, plus it saves you money. Stick with the portion sizes listed on the food packages as well. When first starting to eat the right size portions, it may not seem like much food, but it is plenty to keep your body satisfied and healthy.

The second half to weight loss is to start moving more. It is recommended to at least walk briskly for about thirty minutes each day. If you have kids, you know this is not a problem. Take the dog for a walk a couple times a day; if not for yourself, for the dog because they need exercise too. Get together with a few friends from the neighborhood
and share the local gossip as you take a walk around the block a few times. Take a few laps around the backyard. Going shopping counts too! Pushing a fully-loaded cart around inside the grocery store is crazy good exercise. You not only get lots of walking time in, you give your arms a workout too by
pushing and turning that heavy grocery cart.

Another thing to remember where weight loss is concerned is to lose weight in a healthy way. The most healthy weight loss occurs when only two to three pounds are lost each week. This may not seem like much but it is important to keep your body healthy and not traumatize it by losing fifty pounds overnight. You may lose up to five pounds the first week or two and that is alright because you have made drastic changes to your diet and exercise habits; but after the first two weeks try to stick with two to three pounds per week.

Another option you may want to consider is a good weight loss pill. If you go this route, just remember that there is no such thing as a miracle pill. You will have to watch your diet as well. But weight loss pills can help.

Always consult a physician before taking any supplement or starting a new diet and exercise program.

Many times it is that very mentality of not wanting to be bothered that pushes the actual problem out of sight. In what I have discovered is the operating system that is the failing point. Just like a car the operating system needs cleaning so the bad oil does not gunk up the engine.

Pay attention here this is the crazy part. Microsoft created Obese software. By that I mean it runs great but as time goes on it gets slower and slower. Because there are three core properties that causes this slow down. The Registry itself, the Windows Startup items, and improperly Uninstalled applications. This is the bulk of the Fat inside Windows that slows a computer down enormously.

So dismiss the thought or suggestion from someone that you need to rush out and buy a new computer. That is false information and misleading. So ask yourself this question. Is it cheaper to buy a new computer for well over $1,000 or is it cheaper to spend around $30 to keep the computer running better? Hmmmm. Seems like a no brainer for me and I know that you agree.

It is not a new concept. The skill of socially networking and connecting with other persons has been around since since humans first walked the earth. It is even a basci drive built into our DNA that we are talkative beings.

What is new are the various new online places where this type of introduction can take place. And social networking is new to the web within the last two years and is still in its infancy.

There are certain protocols and procedures you want to follow when playing in the social media space. Especially when you are there with secret marketing motives in mind.

Because this is a socializing area people hate and violently oppose blatant advertising messages which you normally see on places like TV and radio. These type of advertisements have been dubbed “interruption marketing” because you’re watching a show or listening to a radio commentary and all of a sudden they take a break and a blatant advertisement is thrust right in your face.

The easiest way to build a huge presence fast with varied social media sites and blogs and social networking sites is to think about it like it’s an extension of any normal real world social situation you’d find yourself in. Imagine it like you’re going to a party where you don’t know anyone there.

Would you walk up to someone on the street who is a complete stranger to you and you didn’t know anything about them, would you just shove your business opportunity info into their hand without saying a word to them?

Of course not. No sane person would do that because it will do you no good and just waste the resources you spent to create your business card and the money spent to get it printed out.

Yet I see the online equivalent of this foolishness daily when people send me a friend request with a blurb about joining their business.

Every time you talk to someone about your business you want to get results and have a high probability of converting them to a paying customer of yours. That’s the ultimate goal and everything else is pointless.

So how do you go about doing this with these various social media sites?

Much like you do at a party where you don’t know anyone you have to make introductions. With the social sites usually this involves making a friend request.

Normally, all you have to do is find some friends with similar interests in the business and market you’re in and click on a “friend” button.

The most egregious mistake I see people making is just randomly sending friend requests. Like any kind of marketing you’re doing you want to target people who are like you and have an interest in your market because they will be likely to want to buy your products assuming you do a good enough job with the steps of the system to warm them up to buying your product.

No commercials in this initial friend request. All you want to do is find groups and in most sites you can do a search to find groups which are interested in your market whether it be health, fitness, or even blue jeans lovers. There are also many business groups and entrepreneurial type groups if you’re in those markets.

Go deep in a valid and relevant group on a same topic your business is in and start clicking on group members and making friend requests. The only thing you are to do right now until you hear back from them is send a friend request telling them “hey I saw you in this group and wanted to be your friend”. Obviously, you include the name of the group which they are part and you are also a part because that gives you a common link with them and they’ll be a greatly enhanced chance to say yes to the friend request and message they get from you which is the first step to being able to communicate with them.

This will give you a good start in your social media marketing journey. Upon getting a few hundred friends then I’ll instruct you what the next step to convert them to buyers of your product or clients which is sending them an introductory e-mail about yourself.
